Memory of Russia: Program “Alexander III – view from the XXI century”, dedicated to the birthday of Emperor Alexander III, in Gatchina

March 10, 2013 at the State Museum Reserve “Gatchina” is celebrated the 168th anniversary of the birth of the Emperor Alexander III.

To this memorable date the Museum has prepared a program of the day off “Alexander III - a view from the XXI century”, dedicated to the personality, life and public activities of the Russian tsar, and the lives of his family in Gatchina.

Near the monument to Paul I on the parade ground of the Gatchina Palace there is the historical reconstruction of guard mounting, there will be shown the film “Alexander III in Gatchina”, everyone will be able to go on tour “Gatchina Palace - the beloved home of the emperor”.
