World history: Exhibition “135 years – Liberation, greatness, glory” in Sofia

In the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Sofia (Bulgaria) was opened an exhibition of works of Todor Marinov “135 years - Liberation, greatness, glory”. The exhibition is devoted to liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman yoke and the history of the Bulgarian state. It was organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo in partnership with the community “Bulgaria can” with the assistance of the Embassy of Russia in Bulgaria.

The central exhibit of the exhibition was specifically created for the 135th anniversary of Bulgaria's liberation panels with portraits of Russian generals who took part in the liberation war of 1877-78. The exhibition also includes portraits of prominent Bulgarian history, Orthodox icons, and images of Russian and Bulgarian saints.
