International relations: Russia and Pakistan to sign a program of cultural cooperation till 2015

Russia and Pakistan will soon sign a program of cultural, scientific and technical cooperation for 2013-2015, said the Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, who is with official visit in Pakistan.

In addition, Matviyenko said that at a meeting with a colleague it was raised the issue of the need of creation of the center of culture and language in Pakistan and Russia.

The Federation Council Speaker also said that there was an arrangement to sign an agreement between the National Assembly of Pakistan and the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

She recalled that in 2013 it will mark 60 years of diplomatic relations between Russia and Pakistan.
