To the 68th anniversary of the Great Victory: The exhibition “Eternally Alive” in Barnaul

April 26, 2013 at the State Art Museum of the Altai Krai (Barnaul) opens the exhibition “Eternally Alive”, dedicated to the 68th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

The exposition includes graphic works from the collection of the museum of acknowledged masters of the Soviet art – participants and witnesses of the Great Patriotic War.

Most of the works are implemented by artists after decades of the end of the war. On the basis of full-scale sketches by drawing masters were created easel works that have been developed in thematic series.

In addition, the exhibition includes works made during visits of artists to the front who worked in the rear.

The program of the exhibition includes tours of the exhibition, demonstration of multimedia film “The news of the Victory”, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad.
