President of Russia: Vladimir Putin on creation of a single concept of a school history textbook

President of Russia Vladimir Putin during a “straight line with the citizens of Russia” spoke about the need to create a single concept of a school history textbook for students of all Russian schools.

President believes that a single concept of history teaching in Russian schools should reflect the chronology of events and the official estimate.

“I think that it should be a unified concept of this tutorial, a line of books that would show us the chronology of events and the official estimate. Without formal evaluation there will no understanding of what was happening to our country during the past centuries and decades”, - said Vladimir Putin.
