International events: The 10th Week of Germany held in Saint-Petersburg

“The Week of Germany in Saint-Petersburg” is a festival that offers its visitors, whose number each year is exceeding more than 10 000 people, a wide panorama of events from the field of economy, science, education, art and culture of Germany.

The 10th Week of Germany takes place in Saint-Petersburg from 18 to 28 April 2013.

This is a joint project of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Saint-Petersburg, the Goethe German Cultural Center in St. Petersburg and the North-West Branch of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce. In an extensive program of the Week, which includes more than 80 events, are reflected the most diverse areas of German-Russian relations. This was made possible thanks to the fact that many German and Russian companies have traditionally taken an active part in the preparation of its program.

The North Rhine-Westphalia, to which is dedicated to a number of different projects, makes a presentation of its potential and the largest in terms of population the federal state as the main partner of the Week. The program of the next week in Germany represents the culture, society and economy of modern Germany in all their richness and diversity. Exhibitions, concerts, film screenings and discussions, forums and seminars will affect important aspects of German life and become an impetus for new ideas.
