To mark the 20th anniversary of the Constitution and the Federal Assembly: Theoretical and Practical Conference “Russian Parliamentarism: Origins, History and Modernity” in Moscow
17-18 April 2013, in the framework of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Constitution and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the General Archival Directorate of the city of Moscow is hosting the Theoretical and Practical Conference, "Russian Parliamentarism: Origins, History, and Modernity."
The purpose of the conference is to discuss the main issues of the historical heritage of the Russian parliamentarism and urgent problems of its development.
It is assumed that, relying on the results of years of research made by historians, political scientists, sociologists and lawyers, the conference participants will offer their answers to the questions of the day.
The conference is held in the format of scientific discussion which will include round tables attended by famous scientists.
The conference will also include the exhibition "Russian Parliamentarianism in the Context of National History: Publications of the 20th – 21st centuries."
