To the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty: The exhibition “Romanovs. Images of history” in Krasnodar

In the F. A. Kovalenko Krasnodar Regional Art Museum on April 18, 2013 opens the exhibition “The Romanovs. Images of history”, dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the Imperial dynasty.

The exposition includes works by artists from the museum’s collection; among them are paintings of Vladimir Borovykovsky “Portrait of Catherine II”, Theodore Rokotov “Portrait of Count Grigory Orlov”, and Michael Shibanov “Portrait of Catherine II in a traveling dress”.

A special section of the exhibition is devoted to modern art of Kuban. During the exhibition it is prepared a cultural program with media collections and performances of children’s creative teams.
