The Internet and Society: “RIF+KIB 2013” Conference in the Moscow Area

A central spring event of RuNet, the Conference “RIF+KIB 2013” started today in the Moscow Area and will be held from April 17th to April 19th. It is already estimated by the Committee as one of the mass and interesting RuNet occasions of a year.

This conference brought to you by Russian Association of Electronic Communications (РАЭК - RAEC).

“RIF+KIB 2013” is arranged as a three days long field trip near Moscow with a conference pert, an exhibition and the electives. The Conference consists of chapters, round-table discussions, master classes and mini-sections.

The conference events are happening in 10 parallel streams, with about 100 Chapters total.

RIF+KIB is a leading annual conference of RuNet with a significant history. Started in 1997, it was merged in 2009 from RIF (Russian Internet Forum) and KIB (“The Internet and Business” Conference) onto RIF+KIB. In 2004 it received a powerful backing from the state authorities - a Federal Agency of Press and Mass Communications, and on 2008 it received help from the Ministry of Communications and Public Relations of Russia.
