Russian culture abroad: The Cabinet of the Russian world opened in Cairo

April 6, 2013 in the library of the Russian Science and Culture Center in Cairo was held the grand opening of the Cabinet of the Russian world. The event was organized in cooperation with the Coordination Council of Russian compatriots living in Egypt and the Association of the Russian (Soviet) universities.

The collection of the Cabinet of the Russian world was enriched with the latest tutorials and manuals of the leading Russian publishers, children’s literature, advanced towards the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots of the Russkiy Mir Foudnation.

According to the head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Egypt A. E. Balenko, the Cabinet will be a great help to all the methodological and Egyptians, learning Russian, and those interested in the Russian language and culture. Children of compatriots will find a huge number of modern illustrated books with children’s stories and fairy tales.
