Information technology and society: Russian Open Source Summit 2013 in Moscow

April 12, 2013 in Moscow is held the Russian Open Source Summit 2013, dedicated to the development of free software (FSS) in Russia.

The key issues that will be considered at the summit ROSS’2013: the place and role of IT in the cyber security strategy of government, business and society; the ecosystem of free software: the development and certification of free software products, platforms and solutions; issues of standardization and interoperability of open source software and proprietary solutions; ACT cloud-based platforms for IT services and etc.

As expected, the presentations in plenary and thematic sessions will be delivered by almost 50 speakers - representatives of government agencies and commercial organizations, research and education, development and free software solutions customers from various industries. Separate sections are devoted to cyber security of free software, the creation of certified software products based on open source, free software for cloud and mobile platforms, to other relevant areas of information technology.
