Society and reading: The X International Book Forum “Russian West” in Pskov

From April 9-11, 2013 the Pskov Universal Scientific Library holds the anniversary X International Book Forum «Russian West».

This is one of the most important cultural events of the Pskov region in the promotion and popularization of books and reading, the development of partnerships and libraries of near and far abroad. 

Pskov will bring together more than 20 publishers from Russia, the Baltic States and Belarus, as well as journalists, writers, librarians. This year, for the first time will be held the day of business activity with professional events for entrepreneurs. It is planned business training, master classes from authors of bestselling of business books, presentations of specialized publications.

During the three days of the forum is running a book fair with publishers from Moscow and Saint-Petersburg, Minsk and the Pskov region.

As part of the forum it will be held the IV International Conference “Culture of borderland” with the participation of heads of culture, publishers, and librarians from Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, France, and Russia.
