Culture and authority: The exit session of Committee on Culture of the State Duma held in Yaroslavl

In Yaroslavl it was held the exit session of the Committee on Culture of the State Duma on the topic: “Preservation of cultural heritage: law and practice”.

The resolution adopted after the session, stated that the Committee supported the development of a pilot project of the museum complex in the long-term target program “Development of the state museums of the Yaroslavl region and the withdrawal of the monuments of religious significance in the years 2013-2018”, as well as participation in these projects in the federal program “Culture of Russia”. In addition, the participants of the session drew attention on the need to create in Yaroslavl the Centre for Contemporary Art.
