
Book publishing and book distribution: The XIX International exhibition of books and printed editions in Casablanca
In the capital of Morocco – Casablanca – from March 29 to April 7, 2013 is held the XIX International exhibition of books and printed editions.
The large-scale cultural event, organized under the patronage of King Mohammed VI, is attended by representatives of 47 countries, including Russia. The Russian stand features Russian literature, dedicated to the House of Romanov.
In the role of the guest of honor this year is acting Libya, pleasantly surprising visitors of the exhibition with numerous works of their artists, among whom you can find both art literature and philosophical historical works.
The main topic of the Russian stand this year was the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty. Visitors are offered to see a collection of books, telling of the royal family, as well as the most important events and dates of the Russian history.
Besides, to the public attention are presented books about culinary traditions, features and the unique beauty of Russian nature, thematic encyclopedias, children’s literature, including popular fairy-tales.
But most of readers as always are interested in the translated literature – works by Russian classics.
Traditionally, the International book exhibition in Casablanca is a great place for all kinds of events with participation of the Moroccan and the foreign intellectuals.
