Education and society: The IX Regional Forum “Education of the Baikal region-2013” took place

In the Irkutsk region stated the IX Regional Forum “Education of the Baikal region-2013”, the opening ceremony of which was attended by the governor Sergei Eroschenko.

During the month there will be held more than 120 events, their participants will be three thousands of teachers, leaders of educational institutions, students and parents. The Congress of school libraries of the Irkutsk region and the contest for the title of the best libraries of educational institution of the region will be held for the first time. On display the visitors can learn about the full range of educational services which are implemented in the Angara region. The event will focus on discussion and summarizing of the modernization of education of the Irkutsk region for the last two years and the development strategy for the near future.
