Society and reading: The Book-Fair “Festival of a Book” in Veliky Novgorod

From May 31 to June 2, 2013 in the Novgorod Kremlin takes place the Second interregional Book Fair “Festival of a Book”. The event is a part of the celebration of the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture, and includes three-day book fair and cultural events dedicated to the book and the word.

During the fair in the Lecture Hall of the Kremlin will be held book presentations and programs of the Library Summer Reading Center for Children and Youth “Read-City”, will be presented an exhibition of children’s artwork of the “History of the Russian alphabet”.

In the days of the holiday the Children’s Museum Center invites everyone to visit the exhibition of miniature books from the private collection of V. N. Varnaev.
