
Libraries and Society: The scientific-practical conference “Information security of childhood and the tasks of libraries” in Moscow
The Russian State Children’s Library (Moscow) with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation on May 30, 2013 is held the Scientific-practical conference “Information security of childhood and the tasks of libraries” for specialists working with children, teachers, psychologists and sociologists.
During the conference there will be discussed issues of legislation and policy in the field of information security of childhood. At the conference speeches will be delivered by leading researchers on the interaction of children with information, media and information literacy, childhood sociology, psychology and pedagogy.
“Video bridge” with the libraries from across the country will provide an opportunity to learn about new projects and experience to ensure the information security of childhood, including the safe use of the Internet by children and parents.
