Society and culture: The XXVIII International Readings “Dostoevsky and the present” in Staraya Russa

In Staraya Russa (the Novgorod region), at the Scientific and cultural center of the House-museum of Dostoevsky, on 23-26 May 2013 are held the XXVIII International Readings “Dostoevsky and the present”.

The program includes more than sixty reports of researchers of the work and life of Dostoevsky from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Novgorod, Chelyabinsk, Tver, Minsk, Limoges (France) and other cities.

In addition, the forum will include a presentation of the book “Chronicle of the Dostoevsky” edited by Igor Volgin, presentation of the teacher of the Guzel Cherukina Rostov State University “Dostoevsky and others” and documentary films about the great writer from the collection of the Saint-Petersburg director Oleg Vlasov.
