International Events: Open Youth Festival "BiblioFest 2013" in St. Petersburg

From 20th to 27th of May, 2013, Saint-Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts (SPbGUKI) hosts the First Open International Youth Festival "BiblioFest 2013".

The festival is held in the framework of the European Union project called the "Creation and Advancement of Training Programs of Event Management as a Tool for the Development of Cultural and Tourist Initiatives in the North-West of Russia."

The festival is fockusing on the libraries and their young employees, but will be of interest to everyone.

 

The round tables, master classes, quests, tours, performances and concerts will be going on during the festival.

The festival’s objective is to disclose the personal and professional potential of students through event management and accomplishment, and to join the efforts of the government and non-government organizations for the purpose of creative youth encouragement.

The festival will be attended by students from the different cities of Russia and Europe.

The festival is held by the St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts, St. Petersburg Library Society with support of the Committee for Culture of St. Petersburg and the European Union.
