To the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty: The exhibition “Russia – Germany: under the Tsar Monogram and crossed swords” opened in Perm

June 27 in the Perm Art Gallery opened an exhibition “Russia - Germany: the Tsar Monogram and crossed swords” in the framework of the project “House of Romanov. Four centuries of Russian culture”. The program of the project includes two thematic exhibitions, international scientific and practical conference and teleconference with Germany. The author and the curator of the project is Alexandra Pestova.

At the exhibition, visitors can learn about the engravings of Russian and Western European artists, exemplary porcelain of Russia and Germany of the XVIII and the beginning of the XX century, the individual works from the Dresden manufactory from the collections of the Perm Art Gallery, and incunabula rare fund of the A. M. Gorky Regional Library.

The exposition also features portraits of emperors and empresses (from Elizabeth Petrovna), the great princes and princesses, kings and dukes, princes and princesses, as well as images of cities and suburban residences of the XVIII-XIX centuries.
