Electronic Libraries: The first e-library is created in the system of vocational education of the Novosibirsk region.

The A. I. Pokryshkin Novosibirsk College of Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering first in the vocational education system in the region implemented a digital library project.

As reported at the press service of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Human Resources of the region, an electronic library of technical school is a fund of more than 47,000 copies, connected to an automated library system in the region. The main advantage of an electronic library is an opportunity to use its resources remotely via the Internet portal of the College.

In addition to the advanced electronic features an updated library center has multiple audiences – the hall of graduate design, technical literature, reading room and library.

Until the end of the year they plan to create six more electronic libraries.

June 21 the College of Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering conducted for employees of vocational education the presentation of its new library center.
