Russian archives: The presentation of the new unique inter archival project – the web site “Documents of the Soviet Era”

June 11, 2013 in the conference hall of the Russian State Archive of Contemporary History is held the presentation of the new unique inter archival project – the web site “Documents of the Soviet Era”.

The purpose of the project – is the providing of the remote access to the most important archival documents that are crucial for the understanding of the Soviet Era.

Internet users may first learn about 300 thousand electronic copies of documents from the collection of Politburo for 1919-1932 and I. V. Stalin (1866-1996), stored at the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History. In future, the web site will feature other important document complexes of the Soviet Era.

The web site is hosted in the Internet at the portal “Archives of Russia”.
