Information technology and Russian regions: Hundreds of books about Tomsk transferred to the electronic form

Specialists of the Pushkin Tomsk Regional Scientific Library will scan hundreds of history books about Tomsk and will publish them in the Internet in open electronic access to the opening of the regional center of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential library, which is scheduled on September 2013, said the library Director Nina Barabanschikova.

Much attention in the selection of literature to the electronic database is given to subjects of the Russian language, the history of state and law, statehood. In its turn, the task of Tomsk is to provide a regional aspect of the history of the Tomsk province.
