Prime Minister of Russia: Dmitry Medvedev has signed a number of acts in the development of the system of information on the activity of the authority in the Internet

Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has signed the acts, aimed at developing a system of disclosure of information about the activities of state bodies and local self-government in the Internet in the form of open data.

In particular, it was signed the decree “On Access to public information about the activities of state bodies and local self-government in the Internet in the form of open data”. This document states the rules of classification of information to the public of information provided by state agencies and local governments in the Internet in the form of open data, the procedure for determining the frequency of placement of such information and time of its update. Decree establishes the procedure for mandatory online in the form of open data publicly available information on the activities of state bodies of the Russian Federation and local self-government.

The head of the government has also approved the decree “On the list of publicly available information placed in the Internet in the form of open data”.

In addition, Dmitry Medvedev has signed a decree on the use of federal government information systems “A common identification and authentication infrastructure that provides information technology interoperable information systems used for the delivery of public and municipal services in electronic form” (ESIA). The document says ESIA terms of use and determines the cases in which access to the information contained in state and municipal information systems, is only provided to users authenticated in the ESIA.

“The adopted decisions will regulate the use of ESIA, as well as create a legal framework to ensure the placement of state information systems of information in the form of open data”, - they noted in the government.
