Exhibitions: The exhibition "Palekh. Iconography. Lacquer miniature "in St. Petersburg

"Palekh. Iconography. Lacquer miniature" exhibition was opened in the Smolny Cathedral, St. Petersburg.

This small exhibition features icons, iconostasis, lacquer panels and miniatures created by Palekh craftsmen.

The presented to an audience works include the samples on traditional stories, the replicas (called the exact copies) of well-known icons, as well as free combining the diverse styles works. Among the exhibits are: a copy of a fragment of the altar Gentile da Fabiano "The Adoration of the Magi", the largest lacquer miniature - the latest work by Mikhail Larionov, an exclusive private office Iconostasis and others.
