International events: Ulyanovsk can become a venue for opening of cross year of youth exchanges between Russia and China

From July 15-19, 2013 the city Harbin (China) hosts events dedicated to the cooperation of youth organizations of China and Russia.

In March 2013 President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin after talks with the Chairman of China Xi Jinping said that Years of youth exchanges between Russia and China will be held in 2014-2015.

During the visit of the Russian delegation to China, Minister of Art and Cultural Policy of the Ulyanovsk region Tatiana Ivshina offered to host the opening of the Year of youth exchanges between Russia and China in the Ulyanovsk region in spring of 2014.

At present, China’s youth is actively involved in the Russian youth camps and festivals (the All-Russia festival “Student Spring”); young Chinese artists come on tour in Russia. Russian young people are taking an active part in the events in China, such as the Science and Technology Forum “Challenge Cup” in Dalian, a forum for young entrepreneurs in Shanghai, and many others.
