Information technology and archives: Single information retrieval system of the archive fund of the Samara region created

The “Electronic Archive” Corporation will create the electronic fund of the use and a single information retrieval system of the archive fund of the Samara region.

The ultimate goal of the work is to provide an access to information resources of the State Archives of the Samara region through a regional portal of public services to individuals and organizations.

The project will continue the digitization of the most valuable and most sought-after documents from archives in the region, and will upgrade the information system. This will allow the archival institutions of the Samara region go to the V stage of the transfer into electronic government services, where individuals and organizations will be able to obtain the results of a single portal for public and municipal services.
