The creators of Dropbox have held their first conference for independent developers in San Francisco. At the DBX 2013, the company announced that the audience of service exceeded 175 million, the Dropbox support is built into the 100,000 applications, and daily in the “magic folder” is saved over a billion files.

Also on DBX were announced three new plug-ins, which will help significantly extend the functionality of mobile websites and programs. With the first one - Datastore API - developers will be able to keep proprietary information about its programs in the “cloud” and sync it between PC, TABLET PC, smart phones and other devices.

Dropbox is cloud storage of data, allowing users store their data on servers in the cloud and share them with other users online. The Dropbox work is based on data synchronization.

Thanks to other interfaces, administrators can add to their websites the buttons “Save to Dropbox” and “Share of Dropbox”.
