Society and mass media: The International Forum of Young Journalists and Bloggers of the SCO launched in Ufa

The International Forum of Young Journalists and Bloggers from the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) opened on July 4 in the Bashkiria’s capital Ufa.

Representatives of 13 states, as well as 14 million-plus cities in Russia are participated.

An integral part of a week forum will be the motor rally though the most remarkable places in the region, they explained in the government. The journey to the monuments of nature, the largest industrial and agricultural enterprises and social facilities will be combined with a discussion platforms, cultural programs and master classes.

The Vice Prime of the Government of Bashkortostan Salavat Sagitov stressed that young journalists and bloggers of the SCO had an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and new knowledge. “It is important that they will get familiar with the beautiful nature of the South Urals, and talk about the country on the pages of their newspapers”, - said the Vice Prime.

“We have prepared a special tour route, which involves, first of all, the format of the live communication of the press with the local population, - he said. - Young journalists will get familiar with the life and the national traditions of the peoples of multi-ethnic republic”.

The CSO Summit will be held in Ufa in 2015.
