Languages of the world: The first center of the Chinese language and the culture has appeared in Tuva

The first center of the Chinese language and the culture was opened on the basis of the Tuvinian State University in Kyzyl. 

The center should not only bring to a new level of specialists with knowledge of the Chinese language but also to give opportunity for its independent study. Besides, the center should help to strengthen friendly ties between Russian and Chinese peoples.

“The Center of the Chinese language and culture is open on the basis of historical faculty of the Tuvinian State University. This event is easily the most important historic moment in the educational and cultural life of Tuva, because the study of the Chinese language is becoming increasingly important”, - they said in the university.

The Center in their work will cooperate with Chinese universities such as the Shenyang Polytechnic University (Shenyang), the Northeast Normal University (Changchun), the Manchurian Institute of Inner Mongolia University (Manchuria) and the Tsinghua University (Beijing).

According to the TuvSU, professors from Tuva and China will give lectures at the center.
