History of Russia: Exhibition “The lesson in the old school” in Omsk

August 28, 2013 on the eve of the new school year in the Omsk State Museum of Regional History is opening the exhibition “The lesson in the old school”.

Visitors will be offered materials of Omsk gymnasiums and schools. The exhibition recreates elements of the school environment - wooden tables and benches, chest, whiteboard and class abacus.

Here you can see some interesting documents, photographs, books, school supplies of past centuries, learn about the daily routine in a parochial school, what the difference of Church Slavonic alphabet of civil alphabet is. Anyone can learn how to use a quill pen and ink.
