Russian culture abroad: The XVI Russian Art Festival in Cannes

From August 23 to 27, 2013 in Cannes (France) is held the XVI Russian Art Festival. This is the International event which features various genres of the multinational Russian culture.

In 2013 the XVI Russian Art Festival in Cannes is dedicated to the culture of the Siberian region, which is presented by the Omsk region. 

The highlight of the festival will be the concert of winners of the regional children’s contest “Morning Start of Omsk”. For the first time our country at the Russian Art Festival in Cannes will be presented not only by professional artists but also by gifted children from Siberian provinces. 

During the Festival artists and groups from the Omsk region will perform on the square in front of the palace of festivals and congresses within the framework of the program “From Siberia with Love”.
