Information technology and archives: Documents of the National Archive of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to be digitized

The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the “Electronic Archive” Corporation is working on the creation of an information resource of the National Archive of the Republic.

For the National Archives of the Republic of Sakha are performed works on the transition of archival inventories to electronic form. This is the first stage of the work, which aims to preserve the archival documents, which are a national treasure of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for future generations.

The works are carried out within the framework of the State Program “Development of the Information Society of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in 2012-2016”, which provides the creation of digital content of executive agencies and institutions in the region.
