To the Day of National Flag of the Russian Federation: The exhibition “History of state symbols” in Omsk

August 15, 2013 in the Omsk Regional Center of Access to the Information resources of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library opens the book-illustrative exhibition “History of state symbols, timed to the Day of National Flag of the Russian Federation, celebrated on August 22. 

The exposition is based on the concept of the understanding of character, presenting in state attributes as the general cultural phenomenon, which brings together the views of different eras and nations.

The exhibition is arranged according to the principle of the museum exposition and it also contains flags and ribbons, icons and reproductions of icons, coins and bonds.

Publications at the exhibition tell about the meaning of the symbol, show the relationship of symbols from ancient times to the present.

Totally the exhibition features about 100 publications.
