Memory of Russia: The VI Festival of the historical reconstruction “Big maneuvers on Khokhlovsky Hills” in the Perm region

August 3-4, 2013 at the Architecture and Ethnography Musuem “Khokhlovka” (the Perm region) is held the VI festival of historical reconstruction “Big maneuvers on Khokhlovsky Hills”. The festival is held under the auspices of the Cultural Olympiad “Sochi 2014”.

Among the participants of the festival of historical reconstruction are clubs from Perm, Yekaterinburg. Moscow, Ufa, Saint-Petersburg, Shadrinsk, Chelyabinsk and Novouralsk.

To visitors are open the cinema (in the program “Battle cinema collections” and documentaries release 1941-1942), post office (with the option to send yourself a postcard), a Red Army club.

Traditionally, the culmination of the festival is the reconstruction of the battle. This time will be recreated one of the many episodes of the Rzhevsky battle, which lasted, with interruptions, for over a year.
