Book publishing and book distribution: The VIII Intentional Exhibition Fair “The book – the way to cooperation and progress” in Ashgabat

In Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) at the Exhibition Centre from 24 to 26 September 2013 runs the VIII International exhibition and scientific conference “The book - the way to cooperation and progress”.

The exhibition is attended by more than 170 representatives of the global printing industry, literary, and business leaders from 25 countries. The leaders, experts, professionals, developers and managers represent more than 60 publishing houses and printing companies, manufacturers of printing equipment, commercial firms and higher education institutions from the USA, the UK, Austria, Germany, Russia, Turkey, China, Korea, Iran, Poland, Romania, Lithuania, Ukraine and other countries.

The guest of honor of the exhibition was the published in Moscow international newsmagazine “Turkmenistan”, issued the hundredth issue.

One of the major and regular exhibitors is traditionally Russia, whose delegation presents publishing new items and samples of high-tech art of printing, as well as electronic versions.

Also as part of the International Trade Fair took place a scientific conference “The book - the way to cooperation and progress”. The participants got acquainted with the achievements of the publishing industry in Turkmenistan and other countries, the experience of the introduction of new technologies in the production of books and other printed products, creating a network of electronic communication services and book distribution.
