To the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty: The annual festival of fountains in Peterhof “Romanovs. Legends and fates”
September 13-14, 2013 the annual festival of fountains in Peterhof is titled “Romanovs. Legends and fates” and is dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty.
The light and music performance with 3D-mapping and historical reconstructions in a fascinating way will tell about the role of each of the autocrat in the fate of the Fatherland through the prism of the main events of each era, reflecting political views, personal tastes and preferences of rulers who have influenced the course of not only Russian, but also the history of the world. The images succeed each other on the dynastic principle - from autocrat to the monarch, from age to age. The time of Peter I, Elizabeth, Nicholas I, Alexander II and Nicholas II is presented very colorfully and diverse.
The finale performance - as always - will be grand fireworks in Peterhof.
