Information technology and society: Actual problems of electronic document systems and management of information resources discussed in Moscow

September 12, 2013 Moscow hosted the Russian Enterprise Content Summit 2013 (RECS 2013), at which the most pressing problems of practical implementation in Russian organizations of systems of electronic document management (EDM) and the management of information resources were discussed.

The summit was held with the support of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation on the application of information technology and the development of e-democracy.

The event was organized by leading IT weekly PC Week/RE with the support of the Russian Agency of the Development of the Information Society.

The main issues discussed at the summit are:

- Legally significant workflow, electronic signature, security, document sharing;

- Promising solutions for information processing (big data, business intelligence, mobility in the enterprise information systems, cloud technology);

- Systems of interagency electronic interaction (SIEI);

- Open government data;

- The provision of state services.
