Internet and society: International Conference of administrators and registrations of CIS, Central and Eastern Europe in Crete

The Sixth International Conference of administrators and registrars of CIS, Central and Eastern Europe is held in Crete from 10 to 13 September 2013. The main issue of this conference - cooperation with registries and registrars of domain names in different countries, which is especially important against the background of the active development of the national segment of the Internet.

Director of the Coordination Center for TLD RU Andrei Kolesnikov, speaking at the opening of the conference, said that KC Russia in the coming days will launch a website Netoscope.ru, dedicated to initiatives to combat phishing attacks and the spread of viruses in the Internet.

“One of our priority projects - the anti-phishing and anti-malware. In this framework we work with the largest Russian companies, exchange information about viruses in RuNet”, - said Kolesnikov. Project partners are the company “Yandex”, Mail.Ru, Ru-Center, “Kaspersky Lab” and others.
