Libraries and society: The XII Forum of Public libraries of Russia “Bibliokaravan-2013” held in the Tomsk and Kemerovo regions

The XII Forum of public libraries of Russia “Bibliocaravan-2013” is held in the Tomsk and Kemerovo regions on 2-6 September 2013.

The main topic of the forum: “Modern technology of library service”.

The program includes:

- The plenary session (solemn opening of the XII Forum as part of the 1th anniversary of the MIBS of Tomsk),

- Breakout sessions,

- The holding of the “round tables”, master-classes,

- The visit of municipal and regional libraries, the work of municipal exhibition grounds,

- Visiting sessions at municipal libraries,

- Familiarity with the history and culture of the Tomsk and the Kemerovo regions.
