Science and society: The exhibition “Where the soul of Tsiolkovsky hides…” in Kaluga

The exhibition, entitled “Where the soul of Tsiolkovsky hides…” (K. E. Tsiolkovsky through the eyes of contemporary artists) opened on August 28, 2013 in the Alexander Chizhevsky Kaluga House Museum.

The exhibition features works from the collection of the K. E. Tsiolkovsky State Museum of Cosmonautics and the Kaluga Regional Art Museum, as well as sculptural portraits of K. E. Tsiolkovsky, I. P. Arkhipov and A. A. Arendt. They are supplemented by documentary materials on the history of the creation of the works of art from the archives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, memories of authors who knew Tsiolkovsky, as well as memories of A. L. Chizhevsky.

The exhibition “Where the soul of Tsiolkovky hides…” will run in Kaluga until December 15.
