Libraries and society: 17th International Conference and Exhibition “LIBCOM 2013” in Suzdal

November 11-16, 2013 in Suzdal (Vladimir region) will take place the Seventeenth International Conference and Exhibition "Information Technologies, Computer Systems and Publications for Libraries” “LIBCOM 2013."

The conference will discuss current problems of development of information society; the state and prospects of development of information and Internet technologies; their implementation in library practice; issues of system and network integration of information and library resources; innovations in modern educational technology; legal aspects of libraries’ activities and of information producers; development of digital libraries, electronic information resources and a number of other areas.

The general program of the conference will include invited reports and standard reports, specialized seminars, workshops and discussion groups.

The conference will be accompanied with a special exhibition covering the main thematic areas: the modern computer and Internet technologies in information and library science; electronic information and electronic resources; publications; library equipment and materials; educational technology, and other related areas.
