Society and Media: The XI Forum of Mass Media of the Northwest in Saint-Petersburg

October 21-23, 2013 in the theater and educational complex “New Stage of the Aleksandrinsky Theatre (Saint-Petersburg) holds the XI Forum of Mass Media of the Northwest. The Forum is held under the auspices of the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the North-West Federal District. The participants of the Forum are the editors of regional newspapers, business representatives, members of the Public Chamber.

On the first day of the Forum is held the opening exhibition project “Media Atlas of the North-West in 2013”, a panel discussion “Journalism of the XXI century: media trends and symbiosis of the information environment”, discussion “What the civil society expects from a journalist?” and and a meeting with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the North-West Federal District.

The highlight of the first day of the XI Forum of mass media award ceremony will be creative journalistic contest “SeZaM-2013”.

On the second day, October 22, the XI Forum business program is presented with a discussion with the artistic Director of the Aleksandrinsky Theater Valery Fokin and professional round tables.
