Libraries and society: The All-Russian conference “Problems of preservation of cultural heritage in libraries” in Moscow

October 16-18, 2013 in Moscow in the Library-athenaeum of I. S. Turgenev is held the All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference on the theme: “Problems of preservation of cultural heritage in libraries”.   

At the conference is planned to discuss the following issues:

- The preservation of spiritual and material cultural heritage in libraries.

- Libraries in buildings – the objects of cultural heritage: organization of library space.

The program of the Conference includes two workshops:

- Identification and registration of book monuments.

- Organization of accounting and storage of archival documents, the order of their registration in the Archive Fund of the Russian Federation.
