To the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty: The International Scientific Conference “The Romanov dynasty and the East” in Saint-Petersburg

The International Scientific Conference “The Romanov dynasty and the East” dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the House of Romanov is held on October 15-16, 2013 in the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the RAS (Saint-Petersburg).

The conference is held with the support of the Russian Historical Society.

As part of the conference it is suggested to discuss the following issues:

- Journey to the Eats of representatives of the House of Romanov.

- Founders and devotees of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society.

- Pilgrimage of representatives of the House of Romanov to the Holy Land.

- The contribution of representatives of the House of Romanov in the study of the eats: collections, libraries.

- The House of Romanov and the study of the East: support and patronage

- “In the service of Tsar and Fatherland!”.
