History of a book culture: Scientific conference on the history of book publishing in pre-revolutionary Russia of the XIX- early XX century

The scientific conference on the history of the book publishing in pre-revolutionary Russia of the XIX – early XX century “The XVIII Pavlenkovskie readings” is held in the National Library of Russia (Saint-Petersburg) on October 15-17, 2013.

At the conference will be discussed various aspects of the history of literary culture of the Russian Empire: publishing, the book trade, the history of censorship, libraries, readers, bibliophilia and the book publishing in the province.
