Libraries and the youth: The III International Congress “The youth of today in a modern library” in Moscow

October 8-10, 2013 in Moscow is held the III International Congress “The youth of today in a modern library” which is organized by the Russian State Library for Young People (RSLYP) together with the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Russian Library Association.

To participate in the congress are invited library specialists from more than 25 regions of the country, as well as Kazakhstan, Ukraine, France, China and Finland.

The program includes open lectures and master-classes, plenary and thematic sessions, discussions, as well as the presentation of their own projects of participants. It is also planned video bridges with the City Public Library of Singapore, the Omsk Regional Scientific Library, and the internet dialogue with experts on youth of the Helsinki City Library System (Finland).
