Society and media: The International exhibition of the media industry opened in Berlin

The International Exhibition of World Publishing Expo, which is one of the leading shows of the media industry, opened on October 7, 2013 in Berlin. It brought together representatives of 70 countries, including Russia.

The exhibition shows a wide range of products, one way or another connected with the production of media, from printing presses and other printing equipment, software solutions, including the latest Internet developments. The parade is addressed mostly to media workers, their technical managers, marketing specialists.

In parallel with the exhibition are held various conferences on topics related to the activities of the media community. This year in Berlin will be held, in particular, the International Summit of news editors, the International Summit on mobile applications, the conference on the theme: “Yield of the media”, “Workflow efficiency”, “Analysis of the audience”.

The exhibition is organized by the World Association of Newspapers and News, WAN-IFRA - a non-profit non-governmental organization, which is a professional association of media. It includes print and online publications, as well as publishing houses of more than 120 countries.
