Information technology and society: The IV International Forum “Innovation. Business. Education-2013” in Yaroslavl

The IV International Forum “Innovation. Business. Education 2013” is held on 21-22 November 2013 in Yaroslavl and it collected more than 1,300 professionals and experts from different regions of Russia. The forum was also attended by specialists from Japan, the USA, Germany, Estonia. The Yaroslavl forum has a status of “online practice” because it represents the new technological and information development in various fields. The forum schedules the work of 14 sections, the results of which will formulate concrete proposals and submitted for discussion at the federal level.

As part of the Forum the exhibition “Information technology for the population” started its work. This interactive site includes several master zones. Their mission is to practice and demonstrate the ease of obtaining access to public services in electronic form. At the exhibition “Electronic Government” Yaroslavl residents can get acquainted with the work of Petrozavodsk State services, to register at the portal of public services, apply for a universal electronic cards.

In addition, the forum will include a presentation of two electronic portals which allow Yaroslavl residents to directly participate in the development and adoption of important decisions for the life of the region. So, with the help of the portal “People’s Government of the Yaroslavl region”, every resident will be able to enter into a regional roster of experts and participate in the discussion of projects of laws and regulations. Through the portal “Russian community initiative” any Yaroslavl resident directly at the forum will be able to put forward their own public initiatives and vote for the proposals of others.
