Information technology and authority: State Duma created commission on strategic information systems

The State Duma of Russia has adopted a new commission for the development of strategic information systems.

The full name: Commission on regulatory support development of high technologies of strategic information systems. The commission is formed under the State Duma Committee on Science and High Technology.

The structure of the new commission composed of MPs, heads of relevant departments, as well known in Russia scientists, experts and specialists in the field of legislation and the creation of strategic information systems (IS).

The objectives of the Commission include: preparation of proposals to improve the regulatory and legal support and regulatory framework in the creation and development of strategic IP, dissemination of good practices, implementation and introduction of high technologies of strategic IP subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as an analysis of legal regulation and practice of strategic direction of IP.
